Prerequisites
- Node.js 18.18 or newer and npm.
- Git and a repository with at least one committed file.
- Codex CLI 0.143.0.
- An invited Argos account.
Install the CLI
Install the current public alpha package globally. The alpha tag identifies the CLI release tested with Codex 0.143.0.
npm install --global @argosbyaurevon/codex-apply-patch-adapter@alphaargos --helpAuthenticate
The CLI opens Argos in your browser. Sign in if necessary, then explicitly authorize Argos CLI. OAuth PKCE and a state-checked loopback callback return the session to the terminal without copying credentials. Human session credentials are stored outside the repository under ~/.argos.
