Human Review

REVIEW pauses the exact proposed mutation until a separately authenticated human approves or denies it.

What REVIEW guarantees

  1. The Codex proposal is intercepted before mutation.
  2. The repository remains unchanged while the decision is pending.
  3. A human identity is resolved from a Supabase session and organization membership is checked server-side.
  4. Approval releases the exact pending operation once. Denial keeps zero mutation.

CLI review

argos run watches for REVIEW and prompts in the terminal while the agent process is paused.

bash
ARGOS REVIEW REQUIRED
Task: Add password reset rate limiting.
Operation: update_file on src/shared/rate-limit.ts
Reason: Path requires human review for this Task.
[A] Approve once [D] Deny [O] Open in Argos:

Choose Approve once to release this proposal, Deny to keep the repository unchanged, or Open in Argos to inspect protected Task history.

Reviewer SDK

Use the reviewer client only in a human-controlled process. Its access token is a short-lived existing human session, not the agent API key.

review.ts
import { createArgosReviewerClient } from "@argosbyaurevon/sdk";

const reviewer = createArgosReviewerClient({
  apiBaseUrl: process.env.ARGOS_APP_URL!,
  accessToken: humanSession.access_token,
});

const { intervention } = await reviewer.getIntervention(interventionId);

await reviewer.decide({
  interventionId: intervention.id,
  decision: "approved", // Or "denied".
});
